my brother has a gaming mouse (corsair m65) and let me tell you, it's amazing to use even when not gaming. the mouse is so sturdy and it rediculously responsive. it's well worth the money, I have one coming in hopefully this monday, I can not wait to use it in bf4. As for keyboard I recently bought the corsair k70, amazing keyboard, the tactile function and clickity clack of the keyboard is just so satisfying. I would say the experience is so much better, it makes it fun to game, I look forward to just touching the keyboard. yes it's expensive, but if you can afford it, you should definitly get a new mouse and keyboard, they really do make a difference.

Big MOUSE PROBLEM!!! WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP?
First of all, keep in mind that in the winter, there are mice in every house.bar none. Now having said that, they can become quite a nuisance. I use crunchy peanut butter, which is quite effective (sticks real well to the trigger). I went from getting 2 mice one winter to over twenty the next. I did end up using poison(the pellet type). If you have children, it is easy to place individual pellets in areas that kids can not get to. Do not put a whole container of the stuff out, because the mouse colony builds up a resistance. Most poisons work in a way that ends up drying up the mouse in a manner that they do not rot and smell like you might think. OK, you wo not use poisons, get a cat.they are quite effective, or at least most of them are anyway. Good luck, it is frustrating BTW, if you have caught 4 of them, you most likely have 5 times that many still around, the little rodents are quite good at reproducing.

They are less sensitive, but I do not know anything else about them. Tablets often come with a mouse, which sits on the tablet and can be used like your normal computer mouse, with the tablet as the 'pad'. the mouse, generally most all manufacturers, have a threaded button with a hole in it that the ball can stick through just enough to allow the ball to ride the surface you move it over, you can most always push upward on this button while turning counter-clockwise and it Will allow you to remove it and any foreign debris. It will go back together by reversing the process. Since you have a bluetooth capable laptop, I would recommend getting a bluetooth mouse. They are a bit higher in price but you do not have to sacrifice a usb port to connect wireless mouse. If you do not mind using up a usb slot, I would suggest the Logitech V320 wireless mouse. I just purchased one for my laptop and it has served me well so far. The mouse is sensitive, but no overly sensitive where 1 tug and you are off the screen. The design is also very nice for anyone to use. It is not too small or to big. It's just perfect for laptop usage. No to mention it is inexpensive (got mine for $15). Hope that helps =)

How long have you had the mouse, how often do you use the mouse, and do you think it has served its life? You could take a look at the USB connection on the mouse side, sometimes metal can get tarnished or broken (if tarnished, steel wool but be careful). Also make sure that the light is turning on with the mouse if is uses a laser eye. Aside from that, just buy a new one, they are pretty cheap (no more than .$20)

You will probably like this idea I saw on tv... Take a tall trash can (empty) and set it beside a counter. Take the tube from a roll of toilet paper, and put a small amount of peanut butter inside one end. Balance the tube on the edge of the counter, so that the end with the peanut butter sticks out over the trash can. When the mouse goes into the tube to get the peanut butter, the tube will overbalance, and fall into the trash can. If you've used a tall can, the mouse wo not be able to jump back out. Have Fun

As long as you are careful with the plug and socket themselves then it should be fine, 3 times a day is actually not a lot, I mean when trying to fix my computer the mouse was put in and removed constantly and it's suffered no ill effects. There is no reason for the mouse itself to be damaged in any way, the only thing that may have a very slightly shortened life-span is the plug itself, although that wo not really be a problem as the mouse will likely be replaced by that point. TL;DR Does not really matter, feel free to unplug and plug in that mouse as much as you like.
