Big MOUSE PROBLEM!!! WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP?
First of all, keep in mind that in the winter, there are mice in every house.bar none. Now having said that, they can become quite a nuisance. I use crunchy peanut butter, which is quite effective (sticks real well to the trigger). I went from getting 2 mice one winter to over twenty the next. I did end up using poison(the pellet type). If you have children, it is easy to place individual pellets in areas that kids can not get to. Do not put a whole container of the stuff out, because the mouse colony builds up a resistance. Most poisons work in a way that ends up drying up the mouse in a manner that they do not rot and smell like you might think. OK, you wo not use poisons, get a cat.they are quite effective, or at least most of them are anyway. Good luck, it is frustrating BTW, if you have caught 4 of them, you most likely have 5 times that many still around, the little rodents are quite good at reproducing.

My mouse and Keyboard won't won't work on computer?
Hi, Try different USB ports. Try power off the computer and power it back on. Use the mouse alone first and then plug in the keyboard. Try the K&M on a different computer to verify if they are working or not. Possible faulty USB ports, or corrupt software/usb driver. Hope this helps. pcexpertservices.com

whats that thing called that artists use to draw instead of mouses?
It is a tablet/graphics tablet and what we usually call a 'pen', which is a stylus. Basically, the tablet is a very high-tech, sensitive version of the pen mouse (am I dating myself here?). The tablet tracks the motion of the pen in relation to its placement on the tablet -the tablet is the 'screen', and wherever you put your pen the cursor appears in relation on your computer screen. The stylus usually comes with a pressure sensitive tip, a pressure sensitive 'eraser' (some art programs allow you to flip the stylus and 'erase', others do not have the capability), and buttons that function as your left and right mouse buttons. Some tablets can sense the pen hovering over the tablet, others require the pen be in contact. Mine can sense the pen hovering over the tablet, and can be used to trace both regular paper, and through materials such as magazines, and can be used at a depth of 20 sheets of regular paper (I got curious, OK?) The most famous brand is Wacom, which produces tablets in many different types and price ranges. I have a slightly older Wacom Graphire (not the new wireless one). It's a high-end tablet, though, I want to say they cost around $400. Wacom also produces much cheaper ones, the least expensive is going to be one of the Bamboo tablets, which cost around $30-$80. They are less sensitive, but I do not know anything else about them. Tablets often come with a mouse, which sits on the tablet and can be used like your normal computer mouse, with the tablet as the 'pad'. The tablet should be able to sense whether it is the pen or the mouse, and make it react accordingly on your screen, so the mouse acts like a regular computer mouse.

Why does the light on the computer mouse look like a monster?
It's just the irregularity in the plastic over the LED in the mouse. I've looked at the patterns on different mice and they are all weird looking. Mostly, I suspect, because the manufacturers do not care enough to make the plastic optically clear.

What is the plural of a computer mouse?
"Mice" or "mouses"? The fourth (current as of 2006) edition of The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language reports both "computer mice" and "computer mouses" as correct plural forms for "computer mouse". The traditional form "mice", however, is the most common choice, whereas some technical documents authors may prefer the form "mouse devices".

hey ......does any 1 know how to clean a computer mouse thing ???
the mouse, generally most all manufacturers, have a threaded button with a hole in it that the ball can stick through just enough to allow the ball to ride the surface you move it over, you can most always push upward on this button while turning counter-clockwise and it Will allow you to remove it and any foreign debris. It will go back together by reversing the process. The ball is standard rubber as to create friction just wash it with warm water. .....let it dry for at least an hour then re_install the ball and button. Good luck and God bless

roller wheel of my computer mouse(laser type) does not work can i fix it?or need to buy new one?
the Scroll wheel of a computer mouse uses a laser and a disk with little holes in it to work, when you turn the wheel it spins the disk and the laser either shines through the holes in the disk or reflects of the disk, there may be dust stuck in the little holes on the disk that the laser is supposed to shine through

What are the functions of a computer mouse?
I am sorry to say but f*ck computer track pads. Once you use a decent computer mouse, you will never go back to the standard waste of space track pad. they are useless and take up unnecessary space. back to the original question, a computer mouse serves the function of making it easier to do many things. for example try playing an fps with a track pad, then compare to a wired or wireless mouse, you will never go back to the track pad, if you do you are mentally insane

Try to access the Mac remotely. what laptop mouse should I get?
Since you have a bluetooth capable laptop, I would recommend getting a bluetooth mouse. They are a bit higher in price but you do not have to sacrifice a usb port to connect wireless mouse. If you do not mind using up a usb slot, I would suggest the Logitech V320 wireless mouse. I just purchased one for my laptop and it has served me well so far. The mouse is sensitive, but no overly sensitive where 1 tug and you are off the screen. The design is also very nice for anyone to use. It is not too small or to big. It's just perfect for laptop usage. No to mention it is inexpensive (got mine for $15). Hope that helps =)

MY usb mouse wont work with windows vista?
How long have you had the mouse, how often do you use the mouse, and do you think it has served its life? You could take a look at the USB connection on the mouse side, sometimes metal can get tarnished or broken (if tarnished, steel wool but be careful). Also make sure that the light is turning on with the mouse if is uses a laser eye. Aside from that, just buy a new one, they are pretty cheap (no more than .$20)

You will probably like this idea I saw on tv... Take a tall trash can (empty) and set it beside a counter. Take the tube from a roll of toilet paper, and put a small amount of peanut butter inside one end. Balance the tube on the edge of the counter, so that the end with the peanut butter sticks out over the trash can. When the mouse goes into the tube to get the peanut butter, the tube will overbalance, and fall into the trash can. If you've used a tall can, the mouse wo not be able to jump back out. Have Fun

Will constantly plugging and unplugging an usb optical mouse hurt it?
As long as you are careful with the plug and socket themselves then it should be fine, 3 times a day is actually not a lot, I mean when trying to fix my computer the mouse was put in and removed constantly and it's suffered no ill effects. There is no reason for the mouse itself to be damaged in any way, the only thing that may have a very slightly shortened life-span is the plug itself, although that wo not really be a problem as the mouse will likely be replaced by that point. TL;DR Does not really matter, feel free to unplug and plug in that mouse as much as you like.

When there are more and more interesting digital things, except for the keyboard and mouse, there is not much desktop space left, not to mention the need to flip through books to find information, and open unfinished snacks. . . .
Is there a way to save desktop space? And then there is this.
I think the most wonderful design is to put the mouse and keyboard together. At least it saves the space of a mouse pad. Using the touchpad can avoid the problem that the mouse can only be used flat and the cable is pulled. Clicking on the touchpad enables mouse clicks, two-finger swipes for scrolling, and three-finger clicks for right-clicking. In addition, there are independent right mouse button and left button functions on both sides, and the drag and drop and long press functions can be realized well with the touchpad.
Except for the number key area, this mini mouse has full button functions. It is completely comparable to the function of the 87-key keyboard.
For example: Fn+Enter is to open the function of Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the task manager, Fn+Pgup is the Home button, etc. The keys are made of soft rubber, and the pressing force is moderate. There is sound when pressing and it cannot be completely muted, but it is much less than the sound made by tapping the keyboard. The pressing is crisp and has a good confirmation feeling.
The other is the function of the multimedia key, which can mute the sound with one key, open the system default player with one key, and pause and continue with one key. This is a function that many general mechanical keyboards do not have. On the left side of the keyboard, you can see the upper and lower mouse click buttons, which are the second set of mouse click buttons for this mini keyboard and mouse, making it very convenient to input and adjust the cursor.
The back is designed like a gamepad, which fits the finger holding posture.
The wireless receiver is also stored in the keyboard, which can be powered by batteries or two AAA batteries. When there is no operation for five minutes, the power will automatically shut down and sleep.
In the palm-sized area, with less than the weight of a mouse, it fully has the functions of a mouse and a keyboard. It can be operated remotely, whether it is an Android system or a window system, whether it is a mini host, Htpc or it can be operated very conveniently. Whether you are lying down, sitting or standing, it does not affect the normal input. It saves more than half of the space on the desktop, and it will not generate noise to affect others in daily use. You no longer have to crawl around when watching movies and watching episodes at night.
Have you ever experienced discomfort or pain in your wrist or hand after long hours of using a computer mouse? If so, you’re not alone. By prioritizing ergonomics in the workplace, individuals can reduce the risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders and improve their overall quality of work life.
In today's digital age, many people spend a significant amount of time using a computer and mouse for work or leisure activities. With this increased usage comes a potential for repetitive strain injuries, particularly in the hands, wrists, and arms. As a result, the importance of ergonomic tools, such as an ergonomic mouse pad, has become increasingly recognized. In this article, we will delve into the role of an ergonomic mouse pad and its impact on reducing discomfort and promoting overall well-being for individuals who spend hours working on computers.
An ergonomic mouse pad is a specially designed pad that provides support and comfort for the hand, wrist, and arm while using a computer mouse. It is typically made of soft, cushioning material and is contoured to fit the natural shape of the hand and wrist. The primary purpose of an ergonomic mouse pad is to reduce the strain and pressure placed on these areas during prolonged computer use. By providing a more natural and comfortable position for the hand and wrist, an ergonomic mouse pad can help prevent the development of conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and other repetitive strain injuries.
One of the key features of an ergonomic mouse pad is its ability to promote proper wrist alignment. Many traditional mouse pads are flat, which can lead to awkward wrist angles and pressure points. In contrast, an ergonomic mouse pad is designed to keep the wrist in a neutral position, reducing the risk of strain and discomfort. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals who have preexisting wrist or hand issues, as well as those who want to proactively prevent such problems from developing.
Furthermore, an ergonomic mouse pad can also improve overall comfort and productivity. The cushioning provided by the pad can help alleviate pressure on the wrist and palm, reducing fatigue and promoting better circulation. This, in turn, can lead to increased comfort and focus while using the computer, ultimately enhancing productivity and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal issues.
When it comes to selecting an ergonomic mouse pad, it is important to consider the quality and design of the product. Not all ergonomic mouse pads are created equal, and it is essential to choose one that offers sufficient support and comfort for your specific needs. Look for a pad that is made of high-quality, durable materials and has a supportive, contoured design. Some pads also come with features such as gel wrist rests or adjustable angles, allowing for customizable comfort and support.
As the demand for ergonomic solutions continues to grow, the market for ergonomic mouse pads has expanded, with various manufacturers offering a range of options. When searching for an ergonomic mouse pad, it can be advantageous to consider purchasing from a reputable ergonomic mouse pad manufacturer. These manufacturers are likely to prioritize the design and functionality of their products, ensuring that they meet the needs of individuals seeking ergonomic solutions for their computer use.
In conclusion, the role of an ergonomic mouse pad in promoting comfort, preventing strain injuries, and enhancing productivity cannot be understated. By providing support and proper alignment for the hand and wrist, an ergonomic mouse pad can significantly reduce discomfort and the risk of developing repetitive strain injuries. Whether you are currently experiencing discomfort while using a computer mouse or are looking to proactively prevent such issues, investing in a high-quality ergonomic mouse pad from a reputable manufacturer can make a significant difference in your overall well-being.
In recent years, the use of ergonomic mouse pads has gained attention as an effective tool for improving workplace comfort and reducing the risk of developing musculoskeletal disorders. Research and studies have begun to provide evidence supporting the use of ergonomic mouse pads, revealing the benefits associated with their usage. As a leading ergonomic mouse manufacturer, we have delved into the research and studies surrounding the effectiveness of ergonomic mouse pads and their impact on users.
One of the key advantages of using an ergonomic mouse pad is its ability to promote proper wrist and arm positioning. Traditional mouse pads often lack the necessary support for the wrist and forearm, leading to awkward angles and excessive strain. In contrast, ergonomic mouse pads are designed with supportive cushions and contours that encourage a more natural hand position, reducing muscular effort and potential discomfort.
A study conducted by the Journal of Human Kinetics found that participants using ergonomic mouse pads experienced reduced levels of wrist extension and ulnar deviation, both of which are associated with increased risk of developing carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive strain injuries. The study concluded that the use of ergonomic mouse pads was effective in promoting healthier wrist postures, providing a compelling argument for their adoption in the workplace.
Furthermore, ergonomic mouse pads have been shown to improve overall comfort and productivity among users.
