My computer mouse freezes for no apparent reason. Any Ideas why this would happen? Connections are good.?

Most of the time mouse freezes up because your computer is busy. you can go to task manager (right click on the start menu bar and pick task manager) and see who is taking all the CPU time in processes tab. if it is iexplorer, you may have a virus or spyware that is eating up all the resources. there are many free anti virus and anti-spyware software you can down load such zone alarm, spybot to fix those issues. (Ps: I might have plugged in cables from case to mainboard wrongfully, previously. not so sure of this but this possibility is worth considering. just check if /- poles of the cables on mainboard from case are correct.)
