How is it possible, incorrect keyboard assignments

Do you have multiple languages on your computer? I ran into this b/c I also have French on my computer and whenever I pressed altsomething (I never figured out what I pressed) it would change languages and so the keyboard would change and so would the shortcuts. The way to fix this is to minimize Blender, go on the taskbar, bottom right, and see if there is a different language select. If so, you've found your problem, just click on it and change it back. If not, IDK.

There's a problem with my computer's keyboard. Help?

If the connectors are the round ones, (PS/2) make sure you've got the right one in the right place. They should be color coded green for the mouse and purple for the keyboard. Whether they are PS/2 or USB, shutdown the computer completely, and reboot. That should do the trick.

i have a laptop, how do i clean underneath the keyboard?

You can go buy a canister of compressed air from any electronics store. Tip the laptop upside down and slightly tilted to one side and blow the crumbs or whatever is inside the keyboard out using the canister. You can also pop each key off, but I would not recommend it with a laptop.

Leave your laptop open. Turn it upside down and let it dry out for a day or two. DO NOT spray Windex or any other cleaner directly onto the keyboard. Spray a soft cloth and wipe the keys and inbetween the keys. If it still is not working right, you will probably have to send it back to the manufacturer. Check to see if it's covered under a warranty

Logitech K700 keyboard doesn't show up in /dev/input

As this is a single controller (receiver) for multiple "devices" I am suspecting you wo not get them on their own - and the mouse is taking precedence in the way the Pi is seeing them, which is typical for mixed devices in my experience. I have a similar Microsoft keyboard which behaves in exactly the same manner.They are integrated into the same unit so you cannot really test with just the keyboard, but I strongly suspect you wo not be able to get the keyboard alone to appear on the list; You should however be able to access it using the standard input stream in programming (mine works just fine with my Java coding, as well as with that of others). Without knowing the reason you need the keyboard on its own all I can suggest is using the mouse input as you have found it - it should read they keyboard portion just fine for most applications

yes you can flip the keyboard to be either qwerty keyboard (full keyboard) or you can make it vertical so it's like a regular phone. I have it so trust me

If you eat and drink at your computer, there may be food bits and some liquid from whatever you drink got under the key(s) and causing the to stick. Buy a can of Canned air. Do NOT use air from an air compressor even if the air is filtered. Air from an air compressor contains moisture, oil, and particles which can damage the keyboard. Take your keyboard outside Spray your keyboard with short blasts of air as directed by instructions on can. This should dislodge and food particles in your keyboard.
