To type in characters that are not on a standard keyboard, you can use the extended keyboard button or you can use keystroke shortcuts. Enter the text from the input column and your text will be substituted for the corresponding mathematical operation

How much would it cost to make my keyboard backlit?

Sometimes it depends on the model computer. Some keyboards can be replaced for as little as $40, some go up to $100 or better. Unfortunately, since you have a Dell, you may be stuck with a bigger expense, as some Dell computers require a different motherboard for backlight capabilities for the keyboard. You can try calling tech support with this one and see if yours is one that is easily interchangeable

Magic Keyboard

The Magic Keyboard is the current computer keyboard produced by Apple Inc. It was released alongside the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2 in October 2015. An extended layout version called the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad was released in June 2017. It is the successor to the Apple Wireless Keyboard

Keyboard input

On computers, the interpunct may be available through various key combinations, depending on the operating system and the keyboard layout. Assuming a QWERTY keyboard layout unless otherwise stated: on macOS, an interpunct can be entered by pressing Opt Shift9 (or Opt Shift. on the Norwegian and Swedish keyboard layouts, Opt. on the Danish keyboard layout and Opt ShiftF on the French keyboard layout); on X Window System-based Linux computers,[b] it can be inserted by pressing AltGr.; on the GNU/Linux operating system Ubuntu, it can also be inserted by pressing Ctrl ShiftU and then typing b7Enter (the Unicode number for the interpunct) or via the Compose key sequence AltGr Shift^.; on Microsoft Windows, it can be inserted by pressing Alt250 or Alt0183 (on the numeric keypad). The default shortcut using Azerty Greek polytonic keyboard layout (EL) is AltGr Shift$.

The Letter before n doesn't work on the keyboard.?

Keyboards are cheap enough, but lift the key out and clean any rubbish out also turn the keyboard upside down and shake. Hope that helps. Good Luck

Cleaning a keyboard, just want to make sure I'm not going to mess it up.?

First make a note, showing where each key is located, before removing them. the keycaps, can be washed in jn just about anything, denatured alcohol, will work for cleaning the keyboard itself. Get rubbing alcohol to use, but make sure it is 93% or more. Keyboards can be washed in a dishwasher, use the cold water cycle, and no soap. Do not use the dishwasher drying feature, let them airdry, for 2-3 days.

Connecting Yamaha KX8 Keyboard to computer?

According to the spec page for the P-80, it has speakers and an amp built in. Is this not the keyboard you are using?In any event, yes, you need special software within Windows for Windows to recognize this keyboard via USB and actually play sound from it. This would be called "MIDI Sequencer" software, and there are a variety of packages available for all budgets -- from free or open source all the way through very expensive professional-grade packages. Generally, MIDI sequencing software is designed such that you can record and playback your performance, and often "multi-track" record. This would allow you to, say, record the piano track, then lay down a bass track over that, then a guitar track, all from your keyboard. You would then be able to remix the song as needed.
