If your girl friend is that tied to the keyboard buy another wireless and replace the transmitter from one with the transmitter from the other. This will be much simpler than the hardware reconstruction of the dongle.just my 2 cents!

Keyboard drivers and fonts

The Keyboard driver for this encoding scheme are available in Tamil Virtual University website for free. It uses Tamil99 and Tamil Typewriter keyboard layouts, which are approved by Tamil Nadu Government, and maps the input keystrokes to its corresponding characters of TACE16 scheme. To read the files which are created using TACE16 scheme, the corresponding Unicode Tamil fonts for this encoding scheme are also available in the same website. These fonts not only has mapping of glyphs for characters of TACE16 format, but also has mapping of glyphs for the present Unicode encoding for both ASCII and Tamil characters, so that it can provide backward compatibility for reading existing files which are created using present Unicode encoding scheme for Tamil language

I need some Keyboard help.?

First thing I would do is make an attempt to get an exchange/refund without the receipt. A lot of times employees at the store may have knowledge of this issue, or you might get pleasantly surprised with a refund or exchange without the receipt. There could be number of issues so without getting technical take these steps... 1. Be sure you have plugged in the pedal before you turn on the power. Disconnect the pedal from your keyboard. Power the keyboard off. Make sure the pedal is NOT depressed and plug it back into the keyboard. Power the keyboard on and see if the pedal is working properly. If it is still not working properly.... 2, Power your keyboard off, disconnect the pedal and see if you can find a polarity switch on the pedal (maybe on the bottom or next to the foot control). Remember the current polarity setting (so that you can set it back to its' original setting if needed). Simply flip the polarity switch, connect the pedal to your keyboard power up your keyboard and see if that worked. If it is still not working properly.... 3. If you are mechanically inclined, power your keyboard off, disconnect the pedal and reset the polarity switch to its' original setting. Open the pedal and look for two wires running from the board to the switch. You want to reverse the wiring connection of those two wires on the board. Hopefully, once you get the pedal open and look inside It will be clear what you need to do. If it is still not working properly.... 4. Reconnect the wiring to its' original position, take a deep breath and resign yourself to the fact that you are out 70 bucks...

There's a problem with my computer's keyboard. Help?

If the connectors are the round ones, (PS/2) make sure you've got the right one in the right place. They should be color coded green for the mouse and purple for the keyboard. Whether they are PS/2 or USB, shutdown the computer completely, and reboot. That should do the trick.

How to get my keyboard cleaned?

First, shutdown your PC and remove the mains plug, unplug the keyboard (remember which socket) and hold it upside down to release any debris from inbetween the keys (pressing the keys is a good way to release it). If you have a can of compressed air then use it to blow any debris from around and under the keys, if not then use the hose of a vacuum cleaner to remove it. Now take one of the cotton buds and put a couple of drops of the cleaning fluid on it, use the cotton bud to clean the sides of the keys. After cleaning the sides of the keys take your lint free cloth and dampen it with your cleaning fluid (do not put the liquid directly on the keyboard), give the surface of the keyboard a good wipe over using the cloth to trace the contours of the keys.

why will the keys on my keyboard not work correctly?

Sometimes you will just need to remove it from the port and put it back in. Also try restarting your computer. If it is just some keys the keyboard may just be back or you can try removing the keys to see if there is something that is blocking the key from being used. Sometimes my keyboard does that I just have to restart my computer. Hope that helps you out. -Christopher-
