It's a little late now. You've allowed the acid in the soda to do more and more damage. Remove all power from the laptop. Disassemble the area above the keyboard so you can remove the keyboard. Carefully disconnect the flat ribbon cable. Wash the keyboard in water and dry it thoroughly with a hair dryer. When it's 100% dry, re-assemble the laptop. Be very careful when re-connecting the ribbon cable. While you have it open, look for any sticky residue or any areas of the circuit board that look dull or discolored. If you find any, clean them with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush. Be very gentle.

Why does my wireless keyboard and mouse only work some of the time?

Try moving the receiver so it has line of sight with the keyboard and mouse!

Good. disconnect it and set it up on end and spray luke warm water all over the key board but do not over saturate it. Let is set and let the moisture to drain and seep out on a towel for about four hours. The blow dry it on low heat with a hair dryer for 15 minutes. Once this is done lay it back down and reconnect it and try it again. The soda got done into the membranes of the keyboard and it need the water to rinse the soda out of the membranes of the keyboard

Problem With my keyboard .......................?

Try restarting your machine. If that does not work try updating the drivers for the keyboard or just uninstall them and let the system automatically detect and reinstall them. If it is a PS2 keyboard it, a restart would work. USB u might have to try reinstalling the keyboard driver.

My keyboard stalls when Im on search bar?

All of a sudden, a window would pop up and ask me to save my work.again and again, endlessly. I found out that. .Certain keys were permanently jammed. To cut the story short, it forced me to 'save' when certain combinations of keys were accidentally typed (reference to 'keyboard shortcuts'.) Solutions: I carefully observed my keyboard, took apart the offending (jammed) plastic keys, adjusted the metal bars beneath them, and then re-assembled the plastic keys. In addition to that, I use the 'Accessibility Options' to (almost) eliminate repeat keystrokes etc. This particular keyboard problem is very unique. Maybe you have this problem too. Or maybe not. If you do, I would suggest first using another keyboard first (burrow someone else's).and see. Also note, when it comes to keyboard problems - it is always a case of cause and effect. In my case the keyboard was the cause. In most cases (such as 'hanging'/ crashes), it is the 'effect'.

One of the keys on my keyboard got pulled and raised a little,Help please?

We have tried gluing keys back without much success but no glue seems to handle repetitive pounding over time. Replacing your Notebook PC keyboard if the one key distracts/disturbs you enough should not be that difficult and I have done a total of 3 on Dell Notebook PCs. First you buy your manufacturer's specific genuine keyboard, price varies but should be in $15 to $30 range with S&H. For Dell their Technical Support website is GREAT and actually has the Service Manuals available on-line with step by step instructions and blow up schematics. Basically one gently sticks a flat head screwdriver (padded to prevent scratches) in the side of the silver piece that runs along the top of the keyboard and gently prys it off. This exposes 2 screws holding down the keyboard and the most difficult part is separating the ribbon cable. Then one installs in reverse connecting the ribbon cable, etc, Hope the Above Info Helps.

How an I confirm my Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard is encrypted?

I suspect you should assume your keyboard is not secure. Much depends on who is likely to be attacking you - prankster or nation state:While Bluetooth has its benefits, it is susceptible to denial of service attacks, eavesdropping, man-in-the-middle attacks, message modification, and resource misappropriation. These two questions on related StackExchanges give a good overview:Hopefully you can secure the environment in which the keyboard can broadcast. The WireShark tool maybe able to intercept the Bluetooth traffic. See Bluetooth Smart Wireshark Plugin for a guide. Also see Bluetooth Smart Security for more technical details.
