Why Does My Wireless Keyboard Stop Working Sometimes? 1

If you have something blocking the wireless signal - check your desktop and see if a coffee cup or a speaker or something else is blocking the wireless connector to the computer - I AM SERIOUS! This is probably your problem. You have to have a clear signal path from the keyboard and mouse to the receiver thing that is connected to the computer

Is it possible to use Apple Wireless keyboard with Android 4.2.2 tablet?

If you are sure the keyboard is properly paired, have you tried using the excellent External Keyboard Helper Pro? I use it with a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard, and it handles both switching to the external keyboard from the internal one (and back) when needed, but also little chores like nuking the caps lock key

How do I open the context menu from a Mac keyboard?

I always have the same question but I did not find the answer yet.In Windows, when we use the keyboard short-cuts we mostly use the Menu key in Windows keyboard:When this Menu key is pressed, Windows will assume that you right-clicked the highlighted/active element > then it will show you the context menu even if the mouse pointer is not pointing to the highlighted element. So this feature seems to be missing in Mac OS. And whatever suggested solutions, even Enable Mouse Key it always require you to point/move your mouse pointer to element first, which is meaningless. If I need to use the keyboard short-cut to open the context menu on the highlighted item, why do I need again to move the mouse pointer to it also. Somehow this is not a short-cut!!

I need help with my keyboard?

I also have a toshiba satellite. I've never had to take the keyboard off but I know exactly what you are talking about. If you bought insurance the best thing for you to do is to take it in and tell them the space bar came off and they should fix it pretty quick. In the future when you are cleaning out your key board use a electronics duster air compressed can. They work wonders on getting crumbs and dust out of tiny spots.

How do I clean the buttons my on my keyboard?

Turn off the computer, or unplug the keyboard, and pop the keys out of the keyboard in the area that needs to be cleaned. Slightly dampen a rag, q-tip, or cotton ball with water and wipe the keys and the area around where the keys were. If there is -any- water left on the keyboard, wait for it to evaporate (or wipe it up) completely before placing back on the keys and plugging it back in. Optionally, you can use alcohol, as it will evaporate much faster than water, and clean it even better. You can even pour a small drop of this under any keys you can not pop out, as long as you wait for it to evaporate completely before plugging back in the keyboard. If you unsure whether it is gone or not, spray the area with a can of compressed air to blow any of the remaining liquid out. Also, if you have an expensive keyboard, check with your instruction manual to see if it is safe to use alcohol or not, and what to clean it with. I know some keyboards (such as the Logitech G11 or G15) use a special coating on their backlit keys that can become damaged by use of alcohol when cleaning the keyboard.

Replacing an Alienware M14x keyboard?

yes it is ok to put in the back connectors . I have dell XPS and i changed my keyboard the same way. The way back connectors of the keyboard and track pad are connected , is same in almost all the laptop brands . The only thing u need to take care is that u do not push it too hard. Just gently slide the connector back in its place , slide it till it slides and if it stops , then do not push too much . then secure the lock which holds the connector on its place .

Sharing keyboard and mouse between two boxes

I used a KVM switch in this setup, just do not use the monitor plug on the switch. Leave the monitors directly connected to the computers and use the KVM switch for the keyboard and mouse only. Plug both the keyboard and mouse into a small USB splitter and you will only need one switch.
